grinMaybe, from all that I have been reading about this critter and what people have told me, it may be someone from above, who is dropping these critters off not only in Wisconsin, but in Ontario, Canada, and the England countryside. Or could be a conspiracy? I have a great imagination, that has alot of questions and possible answers. How about a mutation of some sort? Or it could be someone's pet, which I kind of doubt, because they are seen in those places, besides Wisconsin, makes me leary of that. I feel the shadow knows. Something isn't right!

I don't want to be Mr. Debunker here, but there could be a few explanations one of which was what you said, it could very well be someone's pet. Seems there's quite a few people popping up with these things as pets lately. It could be something that has excaped from a zoo. Or it couls simply be some wild animal. I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that Wisconsin does have bobcats, and perhaps some other large cats as part of it's natural wildlife. One could have strayed a bit farther than it usually goes.

rolleyes Yeah, maybe your right, but who really knows. Time will tell, when they find it, if they find it in Door County, Sturgeon Bay. I hope they find it and it's what I said, that would be cool. And even though I'm not a bad person, I'll be laughing while drinking my brandy manhattan. It's great to have a imagination for when something does happen, your not as fearful as others. A friend of mine laughed at me and told me I was foolish for believing in UFO's since Junior High School, but after hearing from a Air Force man saying that 1/3 of all the reports and sightings they have seen were unexplainable and when my friend saw one following a plane into the airport then veering off into the atmosphere, the laughter stopped immediately. Another one of my friends was laughing about ghosts and found out for themselves that strange things do occur in Nature that we cannot explain away, and the laughter stopped. So I'm not giving up my imagination and my dreams for anyone, because I've seen and heard different in my life that I have a right to question and be amazed at Science and Nature.

There's nothing wrong with that. I think it's more foolish not to keep an open mind, and assume that mankind has acquired the sum total of all knowledge.

rolleyesWhat do you think about UFO being seen in Door County and not from the vast universe above, but from the poles? A friend, I once knew, told me that she believed that they did. She and her friend saw one, and her car stopped until it left the scene. The thing is that Door County is like a hub for UFO, that is why the poles are interesting, like Hollow Earth.

I'm not really sure I understand your question, can you clarify?
Re: The Large Cat in Door County

rolleyes First of all, I saw your sight, I think it's pretty cool, I used to go to St. Matthias Church and I know of the cemetary there. So that picture was cool. I lived in West Allis along time ago. I also know you are a ghosthunter for real, that is really neat. I've always wanted to see the unexplained. I've heard my name, when my Grandmother passed away. I was on my Grandmother's rocker at nightfall, reading a book, when all of a sudden, I felt a presense and heard her saying my name on the side of me. I just sat there too fearful to look in back or side of me, but if it would happen again, I wouldn't be, for her voice was a comfort. That's just one thing that happened in my life, as far as Door County, ufo's from what my friend said, were coming from the poles, not from the stars. She theorized that at the poles it's Hollow. Oh, and another strange thing in Door County, there were people that a farmer friend knew of, 1 mile or so down the road, who wore black and sun glasses outside, had the curtains down all the time, and get this, climbed a huge tree at night and sat there and went upside down like bats till after midnight. Now you'll laugh, but I did see the proof, and I was awed by it. It was weird and alittle scary.

Deathbead visions are not uncommon during the time of the death of a loved one. Most common is the Britisgh Wriath or the Irish Fetch, visions of loved ones who appear near the time of death. But I suppose it's not outside the realm of possibility for them to be heard as well.

As far as the UFO's, the Hollow Earth theory is a pretty old one, in fact during the 1800's congress commissioned and expedition to Antartica to search for it, but ulitmately all they did was map the coasts of the continent. If I recall correctly the theory was put forth by a gentleman named Symmes, from Ohio I believe. Although I'm certain the theory had it's roots in much older folklore.

That is strange, I don't know what Id' do if I saw a guy like that hang upside down from a tree. Probably ask him permission to take his photograph.

smiley I'll have to look more into Hollow Earth, it sounds really neat to study about it alittle more.

And for the strange people, no way would I have taken their pictures, let alone be near them, unless I was with someone else.

Oh, I have one for you, there are every now and then explosions around where I live. Explosions after 9/11 to be precise. I have called the police department to let them know about it, but all they say is that alot of other people have called them too and they haven't found anything. Then I go on the internet today and found another place they are happening. This is strange. A UK paper" croydonguardian.co.uk" had this to say.
The cause of a series of loud explosions is still perplexing people...the newsroom has been inundated with reports of residents hearing the noise. Loud enough to shake windows and set off car alarms... (Just like Franklin, Wisconsin)

Now we have strange animals, like Ontario, Canada, and the countryside of England, and now this too. What is going on? I'm having strange feelings about this. And of Yellowstone's volcano, that was in the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinal Monday, October 13, 2003 in the Health/Science section to the left of the paper. I'm not the only person, who feels the strangeness. A good word for it. This feeling will not go away.

Where exactly are you located when you hear the sounds?
Re: The Large Cat in Door County

shocked Where exactly was I when heard the sounds, on my balconey, in the apartments on Drexel Avenue. The sounds came from the Southwest, or West. This does not happen all the time, but when it does, it sure creates excitement. And the police get calls, but can not find the cause. For it only happens, once or twice then nothing.

shocked I was on the balconey of the apartment on 76th Street in Franklin, when I heard and others heard the noise coming from the Southwest or West. It happened twice, then nothing. To what it was, who knows! The cops like I said, looked around, but didn't find a thing. But it was loud enough to wake the dead. Just about everyone came out of the apartments and ask each other what it could have been.

undecided I have been reading on the internet, (I know that some of the stuff on here is false), but I've read from newspapers around the United States, Canada and England about the big cats. Now I also know that people have them for pets, but there are alot of these critters all over the place. Iowa, has seen a wild cat and they have not had one in their State seen 1847. Now if there isn't something going on here, I'll eat beans, which I hate. It seems there is something strange happening here and other places. Yes, we have our wild animals, but not panthers, maybe a here or there wildcat, but not a panther that belongs overseas or in a zoo. And if people have them for pets then there are ALOT of people, who are very stupid.
