xx dowsing rods
« Thread started on: Jan 25th, 2004, 8:48pm »

I was wondering if anyone has ever dabbled in dowsing rods. I experimented with them and found them to be intresting but not very forth coming in what they are trying to point out.

I know that that they are a rod for searching for water but they also have a spiritual value which I have heard. Making them is very easy which I have done. When I use them they always point to the same place which is the same location on the first floor and also the second. The strange thing is that they point away of the greatest body of water which is LAKE MICHIGAN which is a block away. Can anyone explain this

Hi Chad,
I'm not real familiar with dowsing rods, although I know what they are from seeing them in movies. Did you buy 1 or did you make it yourself? I'd be curious to try one out.

Almost anyone has the ability to "dowse" for water. Some people are much more sensitive than others, but we all can do it.

I've seen people find water with branches from a peach tree, pliers, and those metal rods they advertise in magazines. I has had success with the metal rods.

A friend I know uses pliers. Once, showing me how they worked, he had me walk across a field with the pliers in my hand. There were no results. He had me walk across the field again, but this time with him holding my elbow. When I reached a certain spot, the pliers almost twisted right out of my hands.

This person belongs to a dowsing organization, who have members who dowse for water, oil and other minerals. Some mebers claim to be able to dowse from photographs.

Dear Chad,

Try bent solid copper rods for dowsing. I think about a #8 gauge should be about right. I'm thinking about 12"
long and bent in an "L" shape.

I've had some experience with dowsing years ago and had a chance to use copper rods.

I was quite astonished when they actually worked. I had an experienced dowser test me to see if I had the ability. He had me walk over some buried steel pipes and the rods touched when I passed over the object. He tested me twice with the same results.

Good luck!
