Opening day deer season approx. time 4:45am headed east bound on Highway 54 near county K intersection. To my immediate north was a very large White light hovering in the sky about 800m from my location. I opened the window to my truck to see if I could hear any noise there was none. Then It flashed bright like a camera flash and took off at a very high rate of speed and the light went off and I could barely make out a triangular shape black mass. No sound was heard....just a couple seconds later on the deep horizon I saw what looked like to my north east an explosive light on the horizon which was very large and looked like it covered the width of 5 miles...about 30 miles away from my location. It looked like a secondary flash of what occurred when it took off only larger. I did not hear any explosions. When I got back home from hunting my girlfriend asked me if I saw anything unusual that morning. I asked her why....she told me oh just wondering...then I told her what I saw....she told me that several of her daughter friends saw a multi colored floating object hovering in the sky making no noise. I am a veteran of over 21 years experience in the military and have never seen anything in my whole life that can explain what I saw.

I could not think of snapping a photo Did not have time I was driving when I saw it...by the time I would have had the time to pull over and take the picture it would have been gone.
