Harry, Your talking about 2 crashes? One in 1947 and another in 1949? First I heard of it.
Where did you see or find info about a possible UFO in '49?
Bill

Bob Girard at Arcturus Books (in Florida) has new First Edition hard-cover copies of Socorro Saucer In a Pentagon Pantry (1976, Ray Stanford). Discusses his research on-site. Today, he holds there were two propulsive modes, and some evidence convinces him to be more of more import than even an alloy he collected off a rock, shortly after the event and which was submitted to NASA.

Signed copies. Reach Bob at RGirard321@aol.com. His phone number is 772-398-0796. The cost of the book (payable to Aucturus Books) is $21.95 + $2.84 postage if you live within the contiguous 48 states of the USA. Postage would be more, elsewhere. Ask Bob.
Just FYI.

Late addendum- This book treats, in the main, the 1964 sighting, which did present evidence publicly, get the 'tip of the hat' from the CIA (FOIA release 11-78), and interest me more than the 1947 accounts.
Frankly, the history of conventional ICBMs had their formative years during the earlier, 1947 era, and so did nuclear weapons payloads. Those, to me, are far more interesting, than an amalgom of various hybrid stories.

That is why Zamora's story, the pictures of the site taken afterwards taken by some locals, and another related sighting will take the blue ribbon, in my thinking.
