Hi all,
Does anyone have any theories on the erratic movements when UFOs are sighted. Is there a possible purpose to this movement? undecided

Hi all!

I have heard of the erratic movement of ufos, but the only one I have ever seen, did not move erratically, but very purposefully.
I was a witness in 1984 to a very purposeful ufo. Myself, along with four others, watched as a ufo came DOWN along a river valley, where we watched it from ABOVE, for two hours! It was a very common looking ufo; by common, I do not mean it was like an airplane, or any other object I had ever seen. It was at night, but we could see a red light on the top and it seemed to be sort of like a rough triangular shape; or a cone shape. My son saw it first, and he saw it much closer than I did, and he said it was not quite dark out, so he could see it was a metallic finish, and kind of bumpy looking. He also saw it fly right over our house, on the way to the riverbank. I did not see it til it flew to the riverbank. At it's closest point, it was only about 25 feet above our house, and right, directly above it! Then, when it landed, it was only about a quarter of a mile from our house. And then, it sat on the riverbank for a half hour or so. then when it did move, it zipped right over to the middle of the river, where it shined a lazer -ike light right onto the river. It was NOT a known object, and it flew so much faster than anyone can imagine! Anyway, to make a long story shorter, it stayed over the middle of the river for a few minutes, then returned to the place it had first hovered. It always seemed to hover, about three to six feet above the bank. Then, as we continued to watch it, it zipped up the far hill, on the other side of the river, and stopped to shine a very bright light onto the new house that had been built just the previous year, and it really shined that bright light on the whole house and yard. It then zipped up over the far hill, and out of sight. I was telling the kids they needed to go to bed, as it was about midnight, and then the object returned once more, and shined its extremely bright light back onto us, one more time, as a parting shot (to us, I believe) and then disappeared one more time.
I'm sorry this report is so long, but it was an hour and 55 minute sighting, and it did many different things, and I did not EVER see it zig-zag. It was very purposeful in its movements.
I have a good friend who has also seen a ufo, and she has described zig zag movements in sightings, but I sure can't speak for her.

Good ufo hunting!

If they are using gravitational propulsion systems, they may be riding on certain "waves" like a bottle bouncing on the ocean. Just a thought.

Hi Sharon,

that is definitely very interesting. I won't ask for a specific location, but is there anything interesting in that area, anything rare or something unusual? It almost sounds from your description like whoever was flying that craft had a mission in that area & was specifically looking for "something".

Hi Sharon,
Can you give Jenny a report on this sighting, or Jenny, maybe you can get a bit more info from Sharon for writing this report up for the site.
