This weekend hundreds of Tall Stacks cruise passengers are on board the Delta Queen, an authentic river steamboat.
But what many of them may not know is that they're possibly spending their three-day cruise experience with at least one on-board "ghost."

Both the captain and the crew of the Delta Queen report they've seen a "ghost" waling the decks alongside its 87-cabins at night.

The good news -- especially for "regular" guests onboard the Delta Queen -- is that the ghost seems to be a "friendly spirit."

Lucette Brahm, of Delta Queen public relations, says its true.

"We do have our resident, benevolent spirit, Mary Green. She loved the boats," said Brahm. "It's just showing her love for what these people do for boats."

Mary Green's portrait hangs on one of the decks.

Green's family built and owned the Delta Queen in the 1920s.

The ghostly apparition hasn't scared away reservations for the Delta Queen's Tall Stack cruise.

Even at prices close to $1,000 for the three-day cruise the ship is booked solid.
