Hi Jim,
As for not caring whether he was married or not, that's up to you. But I feel (and this is my opinion) that if Jesus was married, it changes a lot of things relating to the church. Closing our minds to that doesn't help, of course maybe its because you are a man, I don't know.
As for having met him, that is way cool. Unfortunately not all of us have had that luxury or benefit of getting to meet him. I can say with sincerity that I have 'talked' to Jesus in my own mind, but as of yet he hasn't answered or appeared before me. Maybe I'm just not special enough, who knows.
Regardless, as I stated before, religion is something that is of a personal nature. There are no truths. We can't even prove that God exists. So we must rely on ourselves to determine what we are willing to believe & what we aren't. And while you already have met Jesus & learned all the answers, some of us other measly humans such as myself are still researching religion. I guess some of us are just slower than others, count me in with the slow ones  .

Man, is this an old freak'n post  but, i think those who think Jesus was human in a sinful way, think about this....first of all if Jesus had had sex with any woman it would have been a abomination to God ,same as the angels who had sex with mortal women and created the Nephelim ...Jesus knew the demons and all their tricks and was greater than sin and temptation.Second if Jesus had sex his sperm would have been sterile since his blood would have only have his mothers chromosomes and no male chromosomes from a human father....believe in him and not the lies of a world that has lost it's hope and faith,to cheapen his life so they can feel better about sticking it to Christians and the truth

By the way,Jesus is God,his bloodline was from Adam, king David and god the father.The "novelty" ends there as all seed from his earthly bloodline since then has been corrupted and no greater than any of the rest of us. try the book of Hebrews to understand his mission on earth.Never has there been anyone like him,ever. Think about being killed,quite brutally by the Roman army and then seen by thousands of people, his mother,his disciples, wounds and all days later......can i hear a witness...Amen!

I would have been more interested in seeing the so-called evidence that he actually existed (as a man, I mean). I was under the impression that there isn't any such evidence that doesn't originate from the Christian Church, which has sort of a vested interest in particular answers
