Check your email Russko...I know the current owners of Summerwind. I have details about it in the email. Seems you have pretty good aim in the dark!!

Also, JJRAKMAN, if you are interested, I have a couple of rather interesting experiences from visiting Summerwind that if you are still working on your book you might consider adding. I assure you they are genuine and non-farcical and I can back them up with a number of people who were there when it/they happened. You can email me at struss@rimjaw2k.com if interested.

Hi there,
I was thrilled to stumble upon this board as I am very interested in any info reguarding the Summerwind mansion! I have read 'The Carver Effect", and have seen many posts and information about it. I even went to see the ruins right after it burned. Does anyone know of any other books pertaining to it? Also, I heard that there were some kind of 'bird' pictures in the living room. Does anyone know if this is true? I'd love to see some pictures of the inside. I can only imagine how grand it may have been! I noticed that someone is looking for the blueprints etc. Do you plan on building a house like it? If so are you going to have like tours etc? I would love to be one of the first to see it!!
Any and all replies welcome!
Sincerley,

Hello everyone. Some of you, or maybe others who saw this post, whatever, had emailed me to hear about any experiences I have had while visiting Summerwind.

Well, as I had replied, I said that I was going to write up a story. That was quite some time ago and I appologize to all that had requested that information that it has taken me so long.

I spent some time tonight finishing up my accounts. Overall it turned out to be about 8 pages. I have it available as both a .doc as well as an online version.

If anyone is interested in reading it, you can find it under the following locations:

Word Document:
http://rimjaw2k.com/summerwind/summerwind.doc

Online Version:
http://rimjaw2k.com/summerwind/summerwind.htm

If you do read it, I welcome your comments either in this forum or you can email me as well at struss@rimjaw2k.com

Thanks.

Hi. I too stumbled onto this board and it reignited my interest in Summerwind. I first read about it in the book "Haunted Heartland" when I was a teenager and never forgot the story. Are there going to be any tours of the property or anything of that nature? It would be awesome to see the place (or what's left of it).

Ronin,

You said you know the current owners of this property? My group would be very interested in obtaining permission to check the place out sometime in the future. If the owners would be willing to, I'd love to talk to them. My email is mapi@milwaukeeparanormal.com

Thanks.

Coming to Wisconsin late August and early Sept. 2006. Have read the Carver book and all the web sites I can find, about Summerwind. Have the DVD the Haunting of Summerwind. Plan to visit the site during my vacation in Wisconsin.
